After a hearty breakfast, set out for a guided tour of Bagamoyo’s historic sites. Visit the Bagamoyo Historical Museum, the Old Fort, and the Caravan Serai, which were once key stopping points for traders along the East African coast. Discover the town’s role in the slave trade and learn about its rich Swahili heritage. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride to a nearby island or mangrove forest to experience the natural beauty of the area. Return to your lodge for a sunset cocktail and dinner by the beach.

Excursion to Maziwe Island & Snorkeling

Start your day with an early breakfast before taking a boat trip to Maziwe Island, a small marine reserve known for its crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life. Spend the day snorkeling in the pristine reefs, spotting colorful fish, turtles, and vibrant coral. Alternatively, enjoy a guided walk around the island, learning about the local flora and fauna. After a day of adventure, return to Bagamoyo for a relaxed dinner and evening by the ocean.

Kayaking & Departure
